Summer of Firsts

Lucy has had an eventful summer so far...full of many "firsts." We all survived her first 4 hour car ride up north (barely) for her first visit to Laona and her first bonfire. She went to Summerfest for the first time. She SLEPT through her first time at the zoo. She had her first boat ride and loved it! Lucy has many more "firsts" to come...

Onesies

Since I've been pregnant I've had the idea to create onesies of my own...funny how I never got around to it until now! Here are the two I've created so far...

Bathtime

Lucy wasn't quite fond of bathtime...she's quite the Drama Queen when she gets cold! She has gotten much better about it and actually seems to find it quite relaxing. It gives her time to ponder about her day...

Fourth of July

Lucy celebrated her first holiday up north in Laona! We arrived in town just in time to see Lucy's first parade. She didn't seemed phased by the whole thing either way...the bands and sirens didn't bother her nor was she very interested in watching. I guess that's asking a bit much of a 6 week old??? She did look adorable in her patriotic gear though! Lucy also went for a pontoon ride and went fishing for the first time. We thought she was the cutest catch! She got to spend some time around the fire with "The Greats" roasting smores...yum!
